Saltair 1929
This Saltair resort was a magical destination spot on the Great Salt Lake during the1920's and 1930's. It was called the ' Coney Island of the West'. The advertisements boasted about having one of the first roller coasters, the worlds largest dance floor, air shows, fireworks over the lake, speed boat races, red headed beauty contests, and of course swimming. There's nothing left of this Saltair, it burned down in 1970.
